The Marine Genomics Lab
MGL features a broad suite of capabilities set up for next-generation ddRAD sequencing, high performance computing and microsatellite genotyping. The laboratory operates two powerful Linux servers dedicated to analysis of next-generation sequence data. The servers have a combined 384 GB of RAM, 104 virtual processing cores, and 26 TB of internal storage.

At the Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, a wealth of additional resources are also at our finger tips. The prime coastal location of the university provides ample opportunities for studying local coastal/marine populations.
A Genomics Core facility is also located on campus, offering services in sequencing, library preparation, DNA/RNA fragment analysis, qPCR and microsatellite genotyping.
