ROBERT BRETZING-TUNGATE
Robert joined the Marine Genomic Lab in 2018. His research is focused on conservation and population genetics of three imperiled freshwater fishes native to West Texas.
Robert is originally from Illinois but moved to Texas in 2017 and received his B.S with a concentration in Marine Biology at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi in. He joined the MGL in 2018 as a laboratory volunteer and became a McNair scholar in 2019, completing a project title “Analysis of Elasmobranch field identification using COI”.
